Function Generator is a useful test instrument capable of generating multiple waveforms like sine, square and triangle. at any required frequency, in switched decade sub-ranges. The generator has a maximum wave output of 6 volts peak to peak, which may be adjusted by a variable potentiometer control. The Service Oscillator has a function selection switch, sine, square, triangle is selectable by a switch.
The frequency of the signal can be selected by the band selection switch and fine adjusted on a linear dial. Frequency sweep or amplitude modulation of the output signal is possible. A selector switch and a Banana socket for external modulating signal is provided.
